The Bullet R2 is substantially more powerful than the R1, while also delivering its heat with even more precision than its predecessor. The Bullet R2 Pro, on the other hand, is by far our most powerful Bullet yet, capable of bringing a full kilogram of beans to first crack in a mere 5 ½ minutes -- nearly twice the speed of the original Bullet R1.  That's crazy fast. Fast enough to feel impossibly powerful for an electric roaster.  This extra power also boosts the R2 Pro’s maximum capacity by 20%, up to 1.2 kg, easily making it the smallest 1.2 kg capacity roaster in the world.



Introducing: FlowSense

Essential for developing flavors and ensuring consistent results, airflow control in our roasters has never been easier thanks to our latest technological innovation, FlowSense. FlowSense is a dynamic system that measures the actual airflow within the drum, and adjusts the roaster’s fan RPM automatically to maintain airflow stability, regardless of other variables that may affect it. That means that even if your chaff filter gets clogged and airflow within the drum is restricted, FlowSense will bump up the fan RPM to ensure your roasts are unaffected.

QuickClean Maintenance: The mechanical design for the R2 series has been updated with modular magnetic assemblies as well. The machines are now easier to take apart, clean and maintain. Chaff Filter Clean Alert: No need to guess about the current state of your chaff filter. The Bullet R2 and Bullet R2 Pro will tell you when your airflow is obstructed with a notification on the control panel. Bean Deflector: No more stray beans running away from your cooling tray. Professional Cooling Tray:  Exclusive to the Bullet R2 Pro, we made our new cooling tray more powerful for bigger batches, and even included an automatic stirrer for hands-free, even cooling.

What will happen with the Bullet R1v2?

 The Bullet R1v2 model is not being retired -- but we've given it a new name worthy of its stature: Bullet R1 Classic.  It remains an excellent choice for anyone interested in roasting coffee, especially home roasters who don't necessarily need the additional power and new features of the new models.  As for all of you who already own a Bullet: We will continue to take care of you by providing technical support, spare parts, and software updates. No worries there.
